Maida 4 July 1806 - Longer variant scenario with additional French troops that weren't present historically but might have been able to reach the battlefield. A French army invaded the Kingdom of Naples in early 1806, forcing the Neapolitan government to flee to Sicily. However, the local inhabitants rose in revolt and a British expeditionary force under Stuart was sent to exploit the unrest and deter the French from an attempted invasion of Sicily. The two armies that met on the plain of Maida were small, although the French had cavalry and a slight numerical superiority.
