Ordal 12-13 September 1813 - Variant scenario using gun sections, 10 minute turns and an alternative pdt.The decisive French defeat at Vitoria compelled Suchet's unbeaten Army of Aragon to abandon Valencia and Tarragona and fall back at least as far as Barcelona. However, despite the adverse strategic situation, Suchet decided to launch a surprise attack on the Allied forces concentrating at Vilafranca. Since the British leader Adams had failed to post pickets on the key Lledoner bridge, the French were able to cross unopposed at 11pm and attack the drowsy enemy forces.
