Salamanca: Securing the Arapiles - Having only surveyed the position during dusk, Wellington failed to include the Greater Arapile inside his lines. The following morning, however, Marmont sent Bonnet's entire division to secure it and Wellington, judging it to close to his right flank, ordered the 7th Cacadores to race to the hill and try to secure it before the French reached it.
