So, I've never been completely clear - what's the difference between extreme and full (or whatever it's called).

It's my understanding that the difference between full and extreme FOW is that in extreme it takes a lot longer for your units to fully identify enemy units. In addition, your units need to get a lot closer to the enemy (especially if they're in good cover) before they can be fully identified.

Extreme fog of war is same as full, but it is a lot more difficult (more realistic) to properly identify enemy units. Also, there is less information available than in Full mode.

I think that when you see enemy Tiger in full mode it is tiger in extreme mode it could be PzIV
