Abandoning Crews - GUNSLNGR - 10-11-2008

Can anyone tell me if and how you can have crews abandon equipment/vehicles?

For example, can I have a mortar crew abandon the mortars when they run out of ammo, or similarly, have a vehicle crew bailout when they run out of ammo or are immobilized?

Thanks in advance...

SHIFT 2 then you'll be asked "bail out crew Yes/No".

If it is SPWAW, its number 8 iirc, or 9

Sorry, my answer was for SPWW2 (and possibly mbt)

Thanks guys, and it was SPWW2 (and MBT) I was asking about indeed.

I noticed that mortar crews won't abandon their mortars though. Which I guess makes perfect sense in any regard.

Thanks again,

You can only get them to bravely run away if they are not suppressed. If suppression points are high, they will huddle around the gun/vehicle waiting for a senior officer to ginger them up!

Crew can escape, if turn the machine did not move to this.
If Crew remains in the same hex as its machine in the following turn crew will be again inside of the machine.
