RE: THE MALITZ TROPHY COMPETITION
RESULT JUST IN - POS bt Proniakin

Pron wiped out over half my tanks with schrecks alone, he bought 12 and they were thicker than fleas on a hound dawgs back, they stopped my tank thrust on the airfield and after losing 4 x T-34s early on I dare not push the rest forward at all..

My 3 x T-34's defeated the Kingtig but were then cut to pieces by a hail of schreck fire from every direction..

My wrecked T-34 took a whooshy hit as he closed on the airfield flag..

He's green, but he's mean..
This schreck guy hangs out the window in a determined attempt to get LOS on my T-34 at top left but I outsmarted him by running the tank away..

RE: THE MALITZ TROPHY COMPETITION
NO QUARTER GIVEN, NO QUARTER ASKED

People sometimes ask me - "Do you go easier on noobs in your competitions?", and my answer is "No way ho-zay!"

In fact most of the time I don't even know if my oppo is experienced or not, because I never bother to look at the ladder anyway even if I could understand it.
Heck I don't even know where I myself rank on it, not that I really care..:)

So when I take the field against somebody, he might be a superstar or a rookie for all I know, I neither know nor care, I simply play exactly the same in every game using my same old tried and tested tactics and drills (honed in over 600 games of savage combat over the past 5 years) aiming to wipe them out before they wipe me out, whoever or whatever they are.

My view is that my oppo has got some fearsome doomsday weaponry in his hands and is therefore capable of hurting me real bad by simply pointing them at me and pulling the trigger, something even a raw recruit can do, so I can't afford to take any chances or relax my guard for an instant, and all I can do is apologise to somebody if I blow away his tanks by saying "Sorry, but you were trying to kill me"..;)

COMBAT FOOTAGE - Willows T-34s break my river line..

I was hoping to pen up his tanks on the far side of the river by covering the bridge with my panzers LOS, but he pulls off a surprise move by sploshing this monster across a ford unopposed, backed up by at least one more behind..

"14 September 2000..Johvi, Estonia.
The Soviet-built T34/76A tank had been resting at the bottom of the lake for 56 years.
During battles in the summer of 1944, the tank was captured from the Soviet army and used by the German army. (This is the reason that there are German markings painted on the tank's exterior.) On 19 September 1944, German troops began an organised retreat along the Narva front. It is suspected that the tank was then purposefully driven into the lake, abandoning it when its captors left the area."

Below is a link to a Youtube video claiming to be the above tank actually running! Hard to believe, but looks like a credible site
