Marc,
We had a member of our group who was going to struggle with Lord's Rake so we climbed from Washead and took the Corridor route before the climb to the top, we came down via Brown Tongue.
Monsoon conditions when we arrived, but the weather improved as the day went on, at the summit we moved to the south peak opposite Scafell hoping to get a picture if the cloud broke, as we stood there a huge gust of wind picked myself and another of our group up and dumped us on our backs on the sharp rockfield, i still have plenty of cuts and bumps as a memento! :eek1:
All in all had a great day and it only "wetted" my appetite to explore the other peaks like Great Gable.
