Artillery capture
Playing with the artillery capture optional rule, how do I really capture a gun?
If I'm on top of an uncrewed gun it says 'overrun'. How do I change this to 'captured'? Will this automatically happen in the next turn if I stay on top?

RE: Artillery capture
You can move onto an uncrewed gun if it is alone in a hex or melee it, it then becomes Overrun.
At the start of the next turn it becomes Captured.
I believe that is done because the manual says you cannot fire or spike a gun on the turn you overrun it.
So it is noted as Overrun the turn you take it and Captured on the next turn so the game can track it.
