I'm no genius but have tinkered with computers for a while. Sometimes if you have a hardware issue (problem) you can solve the problem by disconnecting the power source and/or cable connection from the problem hardware from the computer. Boot your computer and once that's completed shut the computer off. Reconnect the power supply and/or cable connection from the problem hardware to your computer. Re-boot your computer. You will probably see a message that says something like "Windows has detected a new hardware and is making adjustments".

That's one option that usually works. I hope this helps?
