yep - us old farts that grew on a diet of Avalon Hill sure seem to miss those days.. I had perhaps 3-4 people I could play with - out of a high school population of nearly 2100 kids.. was never easy to find someone new to play..
Very greatful to the old SSI group for creating SP, and even more greatful to SPCAMO and Matrix, plus all the others that have given so much to keep SP alive and well..
the only thing I have left is Panzerblitz, and a few squad-leader map boards.. when we left arizona, some of our 'helping' hands got a little confused about what was to go into the trash pile, Goodwill, and on the truck.. as near as I can figure the 2 boxes full of rather tattered, well used games and GHQ miniatures went to goodwill.. but it's probably a good thing as most of the games had been unopened, and unplayed for many years.. paper goods like that have a tendency to grow fur here in Florida.. :)
I agree with JP - thanks to all who have done so much with this club..
