Sorry mate, but you are going to learn some German, and some Italian, and some Spanish...and plenty more.

You'll get it.
It's just abbreviations that you'll get to know...Kp for Company, zug (I think) for platoon. Sw=heavy...it's all part of the fun and the learning experience :-)
Wait till you play a Spanish Civil war battle...that'll make your brain rattle.

There's no way of changing the names.
