THIS MAY HELP TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION:

In the mid-1970's, six armored battalions (1st and 3rd Armored Divisions) in Europe were equipped with the M60A2.

3rd Battalion/33rd Armor and 1st Battalion/32nd Armor in 3rd Armor Division were equipped with M60A2s. Discovered this by reading e-mails on the Third Armor Division web page.

Haven't tracked down the other 4 yet! It is out there somewhere.
