RE: Suggestions for Books
Interesting subjects. I know of two books not directly related to the subject matter your inquiring about that may be of interest. Both were authored by William Manchester. The first, "Goodbye, Darkness" is his personal memoir of the pacific war. In it he revisits the various island chains he helped liberate from the Japanese. His perspective is interesting because it's from the infantry level.
The second, "The Arms of Krupp" is a long, tedious at times read, but he does discuss the mechanisms by which the Reich requisitioned and relocated Russian industrial facilities during the war. He also discusses how post-war reparations worked as well. Though not directly related, you may find it interesting.
