Help - Values for Airmobile Inf in MC
I am amending the oob for NGP to add ATGM and Mortars to Airmobile Infantry Bns. The problem is the obvious solution isn't what it should be.

If I give the ATGM equipped Infantry a designation of Helicopter / Guided Missile it will in effect behave like a ATGM armed Helicopter.

I could use Helicopter / Anti Tank but lose the added Guided Missile range factor. With a max range of 2 is this really a problem? The different map symbol doesn't worry me.

Likewise for the Mortars - my Helicopter / Mortar fires in travel mode. Does using Helicopter / Arty really matter?

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Re: Helicopter / Anti-Tank - make the unit an infantry one with 10 men for each weapon system/gun. Give them whatever Hard Attack Value and Range that you think is appropriate.

Re: Helicopter / Mortars - make the unit a heavy weapons type with 10 men for each mortar and give them whatever Soft Attack Value and Range that you think is appropriate.
