Close Ground Support from the Air
I have created a Air Squadron for close ground support for advancing infantry and or armor. I have used a battalion level ID for the squadron and attached 2 bomber types that was previous addressed in other threads. After doing this I attached to division level OOB in the Division10 file and updated the campaign10 file and seems to work rather well.....few drawbacks.
1. House rule - after initial bomb run air units must exit the map
2. Unless agrred upon 1 unit can stay on the map to do arial observations and do spotting.
3. If Visibility drops below 8 all units are grounded and cannot be put into play.
What do you guys think

RE: Close Ground Support from the Air
Hey Marc:
There recently was created a new forum - Campaign Series Hosted Modifications.
You may wish to post your mods to that dedicated forum... so all mod posts are grouped together and don't get "lost" in the main forum.
