The HPS games offer a great deal more variety to be sure...only down side IMHO are the BG 3d graphics are much better. I still like the old BG games as I recently downloaded the updated Matrix games and still crank up a game here and there.

Gettysburg is also one of my favorites.

Looking at the HPS and the JTS series...I'm surprised they still sell each battle/campaign separately...and they appear to run about $40 per...any compilation versions available?

JTS appears to be the most recent effort, not sure of release dates but the graphics appear a little better.
