Thumbs_Up  Checking in with my CS Peeps!
Gents: Smoke7

Good to see many of the "old gang" still hanging around here...

  Hang2
Shout out to John, Dave, Ed, Mike, and others!  Big Grin

These days I only lurk on the CS Forums,   Closet Hide   but spend most of my time at the virtual water cooler over in the TOC Forums. Spit

Gaming Front

I "discovered" the John Tiller Panzer Campaigns and Modern Campaigns Series and currently own 13 titles. Most of my games are World War 2 era, but I also play several modern titles (Warsaw Pact vs. NATO); Fulda Gap '85, North German Plain '85, Danube Front '85, and Korea '85. Who would have guessed that dropping chemical ordnance on enemy unit stacks and brewing up traveling armor and mechanized battalions with airstrikes and roaming helos could be so much fun? Big Grin2  Wink I try to keep 2-4 PBeM games underway and have found that I can usually count on having 1 or more game turns waiting in my inbox when I login in the mornings.

I also wrote a couple of strategy and tactics articles:   Read2

Home and Work Fronts.

My wife and I moved to Clarksville, VA. (Population 1,200) Nov. 2016 where I work out of my home office. Lake view, no traffic, little crime, no commute, and no worries! Wink

So guys, I just wanted to shoot up a flare and let my CS peeps know that I am alive, well and still kicking!   Military2

I do miss the CS banter and email correspondence, and may entertain the occasional CS match in the future.

Hope y'all are doing well and that life is not beating the stuffing out of you?   Horse5

  Keep the faith guys! Smile

RE: Checking in with my CS Peeps!
Thanks for the update, Mike, and you're always welcome in this corner of the bar. In fact the Mike West stool hasn't been sat on since you left and not just because we broke it, either. So pull up the pieces and stay awhile.  Smile

I played one of your scenarios recently and couldn't help thinking of your unabashed plugs whenever you loaded up a new one. I miss that.

Don't be a stranger,

Dave

Think I may have to "reassemble" the "Mike West" bar stool and stay awhile.

Here's to you gents!   Cheers4

RE: Checking in with my CS Peeps!
Hi Mike,

Glad to see your back! Smile

Brings to mind our "Bloody Lane" fight with Rising Sun's Hurricane on Biak scenario.

Man we chewed up a lot of troops in that bad boy contest. Stacked like cord wood.

Cheers my man!

Cheers4
